Professional horn instruction since 1991 in Orange County, CA, I have over 40 years of professional training as a free-lance hornist and have been teaching at the collegiate level since 1994. Currently I hold positions as Professor of Horn at UCR and Cal Baptist University in Riverside, CA. I also have been on the Faculty of Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) in Santa Ana, CA since 2018.

I have had a very successful private horn studio in Lake Forest, CA in the heart of Orange County since 1991 and teach all ages from 9 to adult. 

My students have been extremely successful and have been in many honor groups including SCSBOA All Southern and All State Wind Ensemble and Orchestras, Elementary and High School.

Many of my students have gone on to be music majors or minors at Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Rice University, Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo, Harvey Mudd, Cal State University, Long Beach, Stanford, UCI, UC Santa Barbara, and most recently, Eastman.
